Estes Park Medical Center hosts World Breastfeeding Month celebration
Estes Park Medical Center (EPMC) will host a World Breastfeeding Month celebration Aug. 1 through 7. This time marks the 20th celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, and EPMC and the Estes Park Medical Center’s lactation team, the Mother’s Milk Mavens, are ready to celebrate with the “Great Latch On.” The team will host a celebration event open to all moms who are breastfeeding, planning to, already have or are supporting someone who does on Monday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, in Longs Peak and Meeker Conference Rooms at EPMC. Moms are encouraged to feed their babies, network with other moms, enjoy refreshments, meet the Mother’s Milk Mavens and learn more information about the importance of breastfeeding.
